Optimise your item catalogue by adding, removing and editing items and the variants of your items. All changes will be synchronised with the SumUp App immediately.
You can also manage your items in the SumUp App.
On your SumUp profile, select the "Home" tab from the left-hand panel.
To add a new item, go to your SumUp profile and then:
In the items section, click on “New item”.
Enter the item name, optionally upload a picture of it, and assign a price.
Select a tax rate for the item.
Click “Save changes” to save the item.
If you've got multiple variants of the same item, click “Add variant” and enter a label and price for each variation. Note: You can only manage your tax rates in the SumUp App.
To edit or delete an item, go to your SumUp profile and then:
In the items section, click on the edit symbol next to the item you want to change.
The “Edit item” screen will appear. From here you can edit the name, category, picture, labels, price, and tax rate.
Once you’ve made the desired edits, click “Save changes”.
To delete an item, simply click on “Delete item” on the “Edit item” screen.
To add or change a picture of an item, go to your SumUp profile and then:
In the items section, click on the edit symbol next to the relevant item.
To upload a new image, click on “Add image”.
To edit the image, click on it and select “Change image”. Choose a file and click on “Open”.
To finish, click on “Save changes”.
Item categories allow you to organise your items by grouping them into categories of your choice for easy selection during checkout.
The first category "My Shelf" will be set up automatically. To create a new category follow these steps:
Go to "Items" in the left menu on your SumUp profile.
Click on “New category”.
Enter the name of your category.
Click “Save” to confirm.
You'll now be able to add new and current items to this category.
Go to "Items" in the left menu.
Click on the 3 dots in the category you wish to amend.
Select “Rename” and enter the changes.
Once you’re done click on “Update”.
To delete a category, select “Delete” on the "Items" screen. Be aware, deleting a category will delete all of the items within it.
Added items will sync across the SumUp App and profile and will also be available on both the Items and Invoices too.
