Change email address

If you want to change the email address linked to your SumUp Profile, please send an email to our Support Team at support@sumup.com from the original email address you registered and include your new email address in the body of your message.

Change mobile phone number

In order to change your mobile phone number, send an email to our Support Team at support@sumup.com and include your old and new phone numbers in the body of your message. 

Important

A change in your mobile phone number won’t affect your card reader and your transaction in any way. We only need your mobile number for our database.

Change address

If you want to change your address, please email support@sumup.com with a recent (less than 6 months) copy of a bank statement or utility bill with your current address displayed. As soon as we have received your proof, we will change your address accordingly.

Change business name

To change the business name of your Profile, we’ll need a copy of your official company registration document (with the requested business name on it). Send the copy to our Support Team at  support@sumup.com, and once processed we will change the name in our database accordingly. 

If you are registered as a Sole Proprietor and would like to change your business name, please email support@sumup.com with your request to begin the process. 

Close account

If you want to close your SumUp Account, please send your request to our Support Team at support@sumup.com or reach us by phone Monday through Friday, 9 am - 7 pm EST at 1-888-250-2164.
