How to access your daily orders

Step One

To access your daily orders, go to Settings > Orders. Here you can find open, closed, and canceled orders. Easily toggle between the three options at the top of your screen for more information. 

How to refund a card transaction 

Please note that we cannot support refunds on transactions older than 24 hours at this time.

Card Refund: Step One

Click on the Fivestars logo at the top right-hand corner of your POS screen, then click Refund.

Card Refund: Step Two  

Enter the total amount to be refunded and click Continue.

Card Refund: Step Three 

The customer will be prompted to insert the card they used to make the original payment. Alternatively, you can also press Look Up Transactions to see a list of transactions.

Card Refund: Step Four 

Click Refund. Once the refund has been approved, click Record Refund.

How to refund a cash transaction

Cash Refund: Step One

To perform a cash refund, cancel the closed order by clicking on the Settings icon on the top right-hand corner of the POS screen. Then press Orders.

Cash Refund: Step Two

Navigate to the list of closed orders by clicking Closed. In the list of closed orders, find the order you wish to perform a refund for. Select that order by swiping the order to the left and pressing Cancel.

Next, choose the reason for the refund.

Now, open your cash drawer by clicking on the Key Icon from the home screen of the POS. Complete the cash refund.

How to cancel an item or order already sent

Cancel an Item: Step One

Navigate to the open order. On the right, you’ll see a list of items that have already been sent to the kitchen with a green check icon. (Scroll to the next section if you would like to cancel an entire order, not just one product.) 

Cancel an Item: Step Two

Place your finger on the item/product you want to cancel and swipe left. Click the red Cancel option to validate the cancellation. Once the item is canceled, the kitchen will also be notified. 

Cancel an Order: Step One

Navigate to Settings > Orders. Then select Open. For Closed order, please see refund flow.

Cancel an Order: Step Two

Place your finder on the order you want to cancel and swipe left to reveal the red Cancel button. 

Cancel an Order: Step Three

From the list provided, choose a reason for canceling the order. From there, a cancellation ticket will be printed. To check all canceled orders, navigate to the Canceled section.
