Create quotes on the go

  1. On the SumUp app, tap "Invoices" on the home screen.

  2. Scroll down and tap "Quotes" then tap "Create quote".

  3. Tap the quote number to edit it and add a date and expiry date. All future quotes will follow this sequence until you change it.

  1. Tap "Add customer" to select a customer from your customer list. You can then tap "New customer" to add and save a new customer.

  2. Select " Add item" to add details of your item and save them to your item catalogue or to import an existing item.

  3. Add more items with "Add item" or tap items and select "Edit" or "Delete" to change or remove them.

  1. Click "Continue" to finalise your quote. You can edit a quote again by returning back to the previous screen.

  2. Add any relevant attachments by tapping "Attachments".

  3. Hit "Send" at the bottom of the screen and add recipient email addresses separated by commas as well as an accompanying message. Alternatively, tap "Share" to share it.

  4. Click "Send" to send the email and quote. The quote will be visible immediately in your quote history.

Turn a quote into an invoice

If your customer accepts the quote, you can turn it into an invoice without having to re-enter all the details.

  1. On the SumUp app, select "Invoices" on the home screen.

  2. Scroll down and select "Quotes" and select the relevant quote.

  3. Tap the three dots in the top corner of the quote box and select "Accepted by customer" and then "Convert to invoice".

Send my invoice

Once converted, you can edit and send your invoice via your SumUp profile or send the invoice via the app as usual.
