Fix payment problems

  • Retry the transaction - payments may be interrupted by server errors, app closure or payment timeouts. Retrying a transaction will fix these issues

  • Check the payment amount - it’s not possible to accept payments under £1. A pre-verification limit of £5,000 also applies until you verify your profile

  • Try a different card - check the list of accepted payment methods to ensure your customer’s card is compatible

  • Check your connection - an internet connection is required for transactions. Check your connection settings and retry the payment

  • Reset your Bluetooth - if taking payment via a Bluetooth-connected device, reset your Bluetooth connection to ensure your card reader is connected properly

Declined transactions aren't charged

Our fees are only charged when a transaction is successfully paid out. You don't pay for failed or refunded transactions.
