Sign up for Automatic Receipts
After making a purchase, your customer can enter their email address or phone number on your device and give permission for automatic receipts.
Now, whenever they make a purchase from a SumUp merchant using the same payment method, they'll automatically receive their receipt.
Unsubscribe from Automatic Receipts
Customers can unsubscribe from Automatic Receipts at any time by clicking "Stop these receipts" in the footer of any Automatic Receipts email or SMS. Alternatively, customers can click “Stop automatic receipts” on your device after their next purchase.
At any point during the unsubscribe process, they can change their minds by clicking "I changed my mind. Send me receipts".
Re-subscribe to Automatic Receipts
Customers can opt in for Automatic Receipts again by entering their email or phone number again the next time they make a card payment with a SumUp merchant.
Change Automatic Receipts information
Your customer can update their Automatic Receipts email or phone number by clicking "Receipt settings" in the footer of any Automatic Receipts email. A screen will appear confirming their email address or phone number has been changed.
