EPSON OT-BZ20 : External buzzer

The external Buzzer for EPSON Printers is an accessory that provides a sound signal each time a ticket is printed. This device is made for noisy environments such as a bar or a kitchen. 

To configure it, please follow the steps below : 

Turn OFF the printer

Connect the External Buzzer to the printer’s RJ12 port (same as for the cash-drawer)

Turn the printer ON while holding down the FEED button until a ticket is printed.

Again, press the FEED button until a ticket names MODE SELECTION is printed.

Enter the 3rd menu named CUSTOMIZE VALUE SETTINGS by making 3 short presses on the FEED button then a long one. A new ticket is printed.

Enter the 13th menu named BUZZER CONTROL by making 13 short presses on the FEED button then a long one. A new ticket is printed.

Select the 1st Mode OPTION BUZZER by making 1 short press on the FEED button then a long one. A new ticket is printed.   NB : on this Menu you can also configure the settings of your Buzzer.

Select the 1st option ENABLE by making 1 short press on the FEED button then a long one. A final ticket is printed indicating the operation is COMPLETED.

Your Buzzer is now configured, you can turn the printer OFF then ON again.
