How does the training mode works and how to activate it?

The school mode allows you to train your team legally, by offering you the possibility to take and cash out orders that are fictitious.

1. To activate or deactivate the School mode from your application, simply go to the Settings of your SumUp application and press the "School mode" button. You will be requested to close the till.

2. A blue banner will appear at the bottom of your screen to let you know that you activated the Training Mode.

3. Once you have used it, just deactivated it and a new real till will be open.

Keep in mind that other actions such as the creation of off-menu products,  customer accounts management and Booking management are not available in Training mode. 

Thus, if you perform one of these actions in training mode in your application, it will also be present on your till without training mode. Remember to delete them if you no longer need them after you have done your tests. 

If you want to verify and see the fictitious orders created with the School Mode, you can activate the School mode in your Back Office. Just click on ” Enable Trial Mode” on the right corner of your Back Office.
