This article will show you how to configure your new iPad and download the SumUp application so you can start using your new till.
1. How to configure your iPad
a) First, turn on your new device and select your country and language.
b) Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password.
c) For the iPad passcode you can create one you will have to enter to open the device or you can choose to not have a passcode. To do so click on Passcode options > Don't use a passcode.
d) Click on Don't transfer Apps & Data.
e) If you already have an apple account you can simply enter your Apple ID and password to connect your new device to your account.
f) If you don't have an account, we will show you in this article how to create one. For now click on Forgot password or don't have an Apple ID? then click on Set up later in Settings.
g) On the following steps, you can click on Set up later in settings to move on to the next stage.
h) You have completed the first step in configuring your iPad, we can now move on to setting up you Apple ID.
2. How to connect your Apple account or create a new one
a) You can do so directly from the Settings app on your iPad.
b) Once you are in the settings, click on Sign in to your iPad.
c) Now you have two options :
If you already have an apple account, you can simply enter your email address and password as shown below.
If you don't have an apple, you can create a new one using your own email address (personal or professional) by following these simple steps :
Click on Use your current email address and enter it.
Once you have entered you email address you will have to create a new password.
After you have selected you three security questions the next step will be to accept the General Conditions.
Following this step you will receive an email from Apple inviting you to verify your email address, simply follow the steps listed in the email.

Now that you have configured your iPad you can download the SumUp app !
3. Download the SumUp app
a) In order to do so, go back to the home screen by clicking on the round button at the bottom of your screen and select the App Store application.
b) Click on Search at the bottom right corner of the screen and type SumUp POS in the search bar then select the first option that appears.
c) Click on the button Get next to the Tiller logo and then click on Open once the app has been downloaded.
d) Once you have downloaded and opened the app you will have to enter your SumUp user id and password.
