In this article we will show you how to activate the digital payment in your back office so your clients can pay directly using a QR code.

To do so, go to the AppMarket in your back office and scroll until you see the Digital payment by Tiller integration then click on Learn more.

Once on the integration page, click on Activate at the top right and a pop up will appear asking you to confirm the activation. You must tick the Terms and conditions box then click on Confirm and close the pop up.

Once you have activated the integration, a member of the SumUp Sales team will reach out to you and complete the activation process.

An Obypay account will be created for you after you provide an email address and phone number and you will receive an email containing your login details.

If you want to accept payment by Ticket restaurant, you will have to provide your SIRET and CRT number so the request can be transferred to the partner.

To access your Obypay back office, click on the new tab Digital payment in your SumUp back office and you will be redirected to Obypay.

When you arrive on this page, simply enter your Obypay login information and click on Identify.

With this feature, you will be able to define which information from your customers you want to ask, such as First Name, Last Name, or Phone Number.

You will also have the possibility to activate online tips, however these tips will not appear on your SumUp back office but only in a specific report in the Obypay.

Once you have configured the digital payment integration at your preference, you will be able to print the QR code and place it on the table.

When your customers are ready to pay, they will simply have to scan the QR code with their phone and they will be redirected to the digital payment webpage where they can click on Pay the bill.

If they wish to pay the full bill they can select Pay the entire + sum of the bill.

If they want to split the bill, they can simply select Pay a portion then select each item they wish to pay for and click on Pay + sum of all their items.

They will also be able to enter a specific amount or divide the bill in equal parts by clicking on Custom amount or Divide the bill just above the Pay button.

Once they have decided how they want to pay, they will be able  to live a tip if you have activated the option.

After the order is paid in full, the order will appear as paid on your SumUp app as below.

Here, you can just close the order by clicking on it and selecting the little arrow on the top right then Close order.

Once the order is closed, it will appear in your Closed orders on the Till along with all other orders.
