Invoice payment options

Enabling online payment allows customers to pay your invoice by card via an online portal and has a transaction fee of 0.99% with the Pro plan or 1.69% on the Free plan.

It’s possible to include multiple payment options on your invoices, but at least one must be selected.

How customers pay invoices

  1. Either click the "Pay this invoice" button in the invoice email or follow the link directly from the PDF version of the invoice.

  2. If both payment methods are enabled, choose "Online payment".

  3. Enter card details on the online payment terminal and submit.

Once payment is complete, your invoice’s status will automatically change to "Paid" and both you and your customer will receive a confirmation email. You’ll get money paid by online payments as regular payouts with SumUp.
