Set a surcharge
On the SumUp app, select the profile icon in the top corner of the screen.
Choose "Surcharging".
Activate the "Surcharging" toggle.
Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner then enter the percentage to add to transactions as a surcharge beside "Surcharging percentage".
Tap the tick in the top right corner to save the change.
Surcharges are automatically applied to all transctions via the app and are processed as business revenue. Return to the surcharging screen to deactivate or amend surcharges.
Surcharges have limits
Surcharges cannot legally be higher than the transaction fee for the payment option used.
