Check transfer details

  1. On your SumUp profile, select "Business Account" in the left-hand panel.

  2. Select a payment to view its details, including its status:

    • Upcoming - payment will initiate soon

    • Processing - your payment is in progress

    • Unsuccessful - payment has failed

    • Successful - payment has been successfully taken

From here, you can click "Download statement" to download confirmation of your transfer.

Upcoming payments

You’ll receive confirmation of an upcoming direct debit payments at least one day in advance. In most cases, you’ll be notified four days before payment.

The payment amount will be reserved in your account a day in advance. If you don't have sufficient funds, your payment will be declined. You’ll be notified if the payment fails for any reason.

You can refuse a direct debit payment up until it leaves your account. Be aware doing this without prior approval could incur penalties from your creditor.

My transfer failed

If a payment fails, you may need to contact your creditor to arrange replacement payment. You can also learn more about what causes transfers to fail.
