A Payout Report is a simple tool to help you keep records of your payouts. SumUp will email you Payout Reports on a daily and monthly basis to recap the payouts covered during that period of time. This article explains the difference between Daily and Monthly Payout Reports, and how to turn these reports on and off.

Daily Payout Report

On a Daily Payout Report, you’ll find all transactions that were included in the settlement that was paid out into your bank account earlier that day. Please keep in mind, this doesn’t mean the money will be available in your bank account immediately. Depending on your bank and day of the week it could take up to 3 business days for the money to arrive in your bank account.

Every daily payout has a Payout ID (PID) that looks like this:

If you can’t find your Payout Report in your email inbox or spam folder, you can also search for the subject of the email (“Daily Payout Report”).

Monthly Payout Report

On a Monthly Payout Report, you’ll find every daily payout that was transferred into your bank account during the previous month. This monthly report shows you exactly how much money was transferred into your bank account during the previous month.

You can use this report for accounting as it also has an overview of all transactions that were included in every daily payout during the previous month. Along with every Monthly Payout Report, we also send you an invoice detailing the total transaction fees for that period.

Please note that the Payout Report is not an overview of all your sales. Only settlements that were actually paid out in the previous month are included in the Payout Report.

For example, if you transact a payment on May 30th, this transaction will likely not be paid out during May but will be paid out during June instead. For that reason, it won’t be included in your monthly payout for the month of May.

If you can’t find your Payout Report in your email inbox or spam folder, you can also search for the subject of the email (“Monthly Payout Report”).

Payout Report Settings

By default, your SumUp account is set up to receive both Daily and Monthly Payout Reports. If you would like to turn either of these reports on or off, you can do so in your Account Settings.

Visit your Account Dashboard on desktop by visiting sumup.me. Select Account from the left-hand side menu, and then select Settings. At the top of the page, you’ll see a section for Payout Report Emails. Use the toggle to turn Daily and Monthly Payout Reports on (blue) or off (grey).
